Position: Network Tech
Location: Pickering
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
Weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Nurse Call Systems, Roam Alert, Maglocks, Access Control, CCTV and Network Infrastructure/Cabling
- Low Voltage Cabling - 22/6, 18/2 etc.
- Network Cabling (Cat 6a, Cat6, Cat 5e, Coax) Installation, Termination, Testing and Labelling
- Fibre Optic Cabling (multi-mode, single mode) Installation, Termination, Testing and Labelling
- Cabling Infrastructure Installation of (Cable Tray, Network Racking and cable management
- Installation of network hardware Access Points, Switches, Servers etc.
- Project Management/Forman for cabling projects
- Project Material Management
- 5+ years of experience in Security, network/structured cabling in a commercial or enterprise setting
- Lift experience (boom, scissor, etc.) and comfortable working at heights
- Have their own toolbox (minimum cabling/hand tools), a vehicle (car, truck or van) in good working order with a valid Driver’s Licence
- Must have a clean driving record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multitask
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- must have a valid working at heights certification,
- Whmis and scissor lift certification.

- Position: Forklift Operator
- Location: Guelph
- Day Shift - 8am - 4pm
- Pay Rate: $ 21/hr
- Afternoon Shift:12pm - 8:30pm
- Pay Rate: $21.50 / hr
- Safely operate Raymond Reach forklift to move and stack palletized goods within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and/or containers using the reach forklift.
- Utilize the extended reach capability of the forklift to access high storage areas and efficiently organize products.
- Keep accurate records of inventory movements, including incoming and outgoing goods.
- Inspect and maintain the Raymond Reach forklift, performing routine checks such as fluid levels, brakes, and lights.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a secure work environment for both one and other employees.
- Follow picking orders or work orders to accurately locate and retrieve products from storage areas.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to prioritize tasks and fulfill orders efficiently.
- Assist in organizing and arranging the warehouse layout for optimal space utilization.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, disposing of any damaged or unusable materials properly.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
- Operate counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and transport materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maneuver the forklift to position loads onto shelves, racks, or trucks, ensuring stability and balance.
