Position: Shipper/Receiver

location: Etobicoke, ON

Pay rate: $20-$25 per hour

Working hours: 8 am to 4 pm Mondays to Fridays; Starts ASAP

Our Client in Etobicoke is currently looking for a Shipper/Receiver . The candidate will be responsible for packs, unpacks, sorts and stores incoming shipments and orders, verifying against purchase, verifies of incoming and outgoing orders/shipments loads and unloads of orders/shipments.

Responsibilities:

Packs, unpacks, sorts and stores incoming shipments and orders, verifying against purchase orders/invoices
Prepares, packages and ships customer orders, ensuring that shipments are delivered to customers in a timely fashion by coordinating with courier as needed
Verifies accuracy of incoming purchase order
Ensures the yard and warehouse are clean and organize
Performs other related duties as required
Verifies of incoming and outgoing orders/shipments
Loads and unloads of orders/shipments
Provides a high level of service to customers in the branch
Ensures deliveries and pickups are completed in a timely fashion, by courier or if necessary by driving with company vehicle

Requirements:

High school diploma
Beard is not allowed as it is a food company.
Possess a minimum of a Class 5 License
Minimum grade 12 education or equivalent
Knowledge of surrounding region
Have excellent communication and organizational skills
Must be able to work in inclement weather as required
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work well with minimal supervision
Good Computer Skills
Forklift certification is required.
Valid Drivers’ License with current abstract
