Transportation & Logistics Sales Specialist

Pay Rate: $ 55k- 70K per year.

Location: Toronto

Job Type: in-person, full-time; Direct-Hire

One of our clients is a highly organized and experienced Logistics Sales Specialist for the Toronto location. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with a deep understanding of the transportation and logistics industry.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the current client base.
  • Prioritize client satisfaction and address their needs promptly.
  • Identify and target potential clients across various industries.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new clients.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calls, and thorough market research.
  • Educate clients about the comprehensive range of transportation and logistics services we offer.
  • Communicate the value propositions and benefits of our solutions effectively.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations.
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing and service contracts with clients.
  • Ensure that pricing remains competitive while aligning with our profitability goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to fulfill contractual obligations.

Job Requirements:

  •    Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience intransportation and logistics sales or a similar industry.
  • Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of this geography will be an asset.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of transportation and logistics services, including shipping, warehousing, and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel and meet with clients as necessary.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
